Danska iMotions går från klarhet till klarhet. Igår fick de ta emot ett prestigefyllt pris från amerikanska handelskammaren för Danmarks mest entreprenöriella företag.
Pressmeddelande från iMotions:
iMotions announced today that it received the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Denmark’s 2007 Entrepreneurship Award.
“We are really proud to have been selected for this Award. From the very first day, we have consciously built iMotions on US best practices for high tech Entrepreneurship and this Award validates our global and unique entrepreneurial model”, says iMotions CEO and Co-founder Peter Hartzbech.
“We knew that 50% of the world market for our first product is in the US, therefore, we focused on developing significant partnerships in the US. In December 2005, iMotions was the first Scandinavian high-tech start-up to be approved by and accepted to collaborate with the MIT Entrepreneurship Center, which gave us a head start. The fact that iMotions already from the prototype phase, focused on the US market led to a customer and cooperation agreement signed in April this year, with Cunningham Research Group (CRG Global), one of the leading providers of data collection services and analysis in the US” continued Peter Hartzbech.
Jakob de Lemos, CTO and Co-founder added, “iMotions has filed its patents directly in the United States with one of the leading patent attorneys from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP”.
One important success factor in growing a global business within a short period of time is iMotions’ global team, which has been working hard and energetically with innovative software and business development. In addition the team is based on a wide array of professional backgrounds and experiences, therefore, iMotions has been able to expand geographically so fast. iMotions was not even 2 years old, when the 2 first subsidiaries were started in India and in the US in January 2007.
At the reception yesterday Mark Luscombe, Chairman of AmCham said “iMotions demonstrates how applying the principles of entrepreneurship and technological innovation combined with a responsible global business model can build brand value, grow revenues and create jobs”.
