Breaking news: there are not only two Swedish stands at the Esomar congress: along with Intervjubolaget IMRI and Cint, eye-tracking company Tobii has the largest Swedish stand.
Jessica Lundqvist, account manager, told SMRN about her congress experience so far.

Jessica Lundqvist, Stockholm-based account manager of Tobii Technologies, is happy about her Canadian experience so far.
MONTREAL (SMRN): Following an Internet access collapse, SMRN's reporter was forced to leave the cosy press room and walk down to the exhibition hall. There, a discovery was made: Tobii, the Swedish eye-tracking success story, has a double-sized stand.
Tobii has three Swedes present, Jessica Lundqvist explains while SMRN munches a giant free red apple. However, they are tagged as Americans in the congress rosters, hence their obscurity from SMRN's list of Scandinavian delegates as published the other day.
- It's been good standing here so far, with both clients and people not familiar to eye-tracking having visited me, Jessica says.
According to her, Tobii has hundreds of customers in North America: both MR agencies, usability companies, and advertising companies who want to see how ads of various layouts are perceived using eye-tracking.
Usability, is that for people developing things for disabled people?
- No, it's primarily software companies who want to optimize their GUI:s. Examples of such clients are Microsoft, who use it for their Office suite, and Google, who I believe use it in order to decide how to distribute sponsored links on their webpage.
We switch subject to Tobii's rapid growth: last year, it won a Deloitte competition for fast-growing companies, and currently it has offices in Stockholm (HQ), Boston, Washington D.C., Frankfurt and Tokyo.
